<synopsis>Codes of Conduct in software circles became a Big Deal™ a few years ago, and some of the objections are the same old objections that come up every time that people are asked to modify their behavior as a result of society changing around them. I end up quoting two well-known personalities in the Linux and Free Software worlds as examples of this ridiculous heel-dragging. I should also note that: I'm not an expert, so some of this info might be incorrect or could have been said better, and this is the fourth time I recorded the same video, so I had to just shove it out the door otherwise I'd never get it posted (but that also means that I might have glossed over some things that I brought up in the other takes, it's hard to keep track sometimes).</synopsis>
